The sources of Order of Battle information listed on the ADVA web pages are from published sources. From time to time information becomes available about units that are not listed on any of the given Order of Battle pages. In many cases additional research will verify these units as being part of the Americal Division.

The Order of Battle lists are true to the source they came from, even if the source is incomplete or incorrect. This page was created to list those units which were a part of the Americal Division but for some reason are not listed in any of the given Order of Battle pages on the ADVA web site. Btry. A, 2/94th Artillery, TFO

Btry. A, 2/94th Artillery was part of Task Force Oregon in 1967. It arrived from Ft. Sill, OK in 1966 and was initially OPCON with the 1st Marine Division in Chu Lai. The unit received the Presidential Unit Citation- Navy for its performance. Btry. A was later released to move to the Ashau Valley and the DMZ to join its parent unit.

Operation Reports-Lessons Learned (ORLL) describe the departure of A, 2/94th Artillery from TFO command. It is not know why this unit is not listed in TFO Order of Battle. Thanks go to COL Jerry D.
