I'am sorry, thought this was a Marine Site, but we all worked hard at it then. Just thought I would through my name in here and see if anyone remembers. Thanks Army, we worked well together. Semper-Fi
I appreciate the service you provide. My father, Gene Thomas, served with "M" Co., 164th Inf. in Louisiana, New Caledonia, Guadalcanal and Bougainville. Naturally, I'd like to hear from anyone who might have known him.
Great site. Haven't thought about this for years. I'd like to hear from anybody who remembers being on LZ Center from 70-71. Marc "doc" Adams

What a magnificent surprise it was, when I typed in the name of the Division I loved so well, and your delightful site on the net. I have seen messages on your site already, from the 182nd Inf, regt, I served with, We all remember the battle of hill 260. Thank you ADVA, I salute all.
I loved the fact that we are not forgotten once we or out of the service. I hope that I might be able to reach some of my friends that might be looking for me just as I am looking for them.
I think it takes a awful big chiwawa to weight a hundred pounds
thankyou james beech where ever you are, for bandaging me up on aug. 8th 1969.
Served with the Americal Division Public Information Office in Chu Lai in December 1968 when I was a passenger on a C-123 with thirty-five or more other troopers. We crashed shortly out of Chu Lai airfield at about 1100 a.m. on the 17th of December 1968. I recall that nearly 30 of the personnel on board were killed. I would like anyone with any information about the actual facts of this crash to contact me. Would love to hear from any survivors of the crash. Thanks.
Good Memories About My Friends All AMericans/All The Way
I want to find my friends!
Heading for Branson for 588th Maint. Co. reunion June 11! Living in North Dakota- Grand Forks (flood city). BNSF Railroad. Maybe see you there!
I am the widow of a deceased Vietnam Veteran who died in 1994. I found your website because I am seeking info that may help me with a VA Claim for benefits. My husband died of pancreatic cancer at age 46 years and it is believed that the disease was caused by his time spent in the area where agent orange was used. His doctor said it is possbile and quite probable that his death was the result of agent orange, but after four years I am still fighting the battle with the VA. Actually I am trying to find out if any other veterans had the same type of cancer and if benefits were approved. If there is a precedence it is always easier to prove the cause, therefore I am seeking any information that might be available. Or possible another form of research and advice from someone that has found information on this topic. I found your website to be very informative, thank you for the good work. Thank again, Colleen Trickey
To all those who built and maintain this site. Thank you very much!
I think the ADVA is a wonderful organization for VN Vets to look back upon. I just now got my e-mail working and I am delighted because I can now try to locate someone who might have served with me in Nam.
Great page and thanks for the opportunity to communicate with others from Americal. Would like to hear from anyone that was in the original 1/1 Armored sent 8/97 to Chu Lai.
Excellent search tool for services, support and locator. So far no luck in locating old buddies, but after so many years it takes time and patience. Thanks to all the volunteers who have donated time and effort to put it all together.
The only guys I have seen or talked to in the past couple of years is "Hard", John Pacheco, Russel Miles and LT. Kosack. We all met with Vic Navonnes mother in Reno at the Reunion there in '96.
Thanks to the ADVA Locator board I got up with a buddy that I servred with in Nam. It had been about 29 years, (seems like yesterday) See y'all in St Louis this summer Thanks again to the ADVA

The CAP Web Site, in conjunction with the CAP Veterans Association, would like to find members of the Americal Division who were involved in the CUPP (Combined Unit Pacification Program) in 1969-70. As lineal descendants of our program, we would like to add that group to our Web Site. Contact me at the address above, or through our Web Site at http://www.capmarine.com.
Thanks, Tim "CAPVet" Duffie
