I was platoon leader with Delta Company and XO in Alpha Company, 1/46
Infantry, 196th LIB from Sep '69 to Sep '70. The web page looks great. Keep
up the good work.
Great to find you all. I was with E Co 1/6 198 LIB from Nov 67 until Jan 68. Caught rocket frag at the bridge outside Chu Lai village and was ultimately medevac'd home. I'd be interested in talking with anyone from my old unit and would be interested in pictures of the the area.
I have just located Col. Henderson, CO 11th LIB, Amcal Div., 1967-1968. He is living in my home town of [deleted for privacy -Webmaster]. I plan to visit him this weekend. As ya'll know he had to resign because of Pinkville. Those who served under him could send him greetings (in care of me) that I could take to him when I see him. I'm sure your thoughts will be appreciated. Thank you so much.
Nice Homepage! These are the units that I served with during the years 1968 - 1970: - C-4-21-11th Bde.
- E-51st (LRRP)
- G-75th (Ranger)
A very professional looking page. I'm glad to find something like this on the Internet. I served with the 198th in 1968. That sure was a long time ago.

My Father (Earl L. "Red" Cherrey) saw action in Guadalcanal as a member of "E" Company, 164th Infantry Regiment, Americal Division. Dad's soon to be on-line. I'll point him this direction.
Great! This is what I've been searching for. Thanks!
I think you guys are doing a great job by going onto the Internet! This wealth of information may help heal the hurt and pain made by that war. I'm not an Army person but I was stationed at Chu Lai where you guys were home base. I was in the Marines with Mag-13 1967-68. WELCOME HOME!!!! and keep up the good work. Semper Fi.....Fred Jr.
It is great to see that my division has such a great home page. Please put my name on the list. I would enjoy hearing from anyone I served with. A Company, 1/52 Infantry 198th or C Battery/ 1/14 Arty, 198th LIB.

I'm glad to see this. I was assigned to the 635th MI Co from June '70 until Apr '71 and served in Chu Lai, Duc Pho, and Dong Ha with the Americal. I'm still proud and as a Colonel in the US Army Reserve, still wear the Americal patch.
Great job, hopefully some of my members of the 173D Airborne Brigade will set up a web site soon. Cheers for now. Ken XWWH70A

I kind of stumbled into your WWW site. But I think you are doing a great thing. A friend of mine served with Americal in Vietnam and I thought of him. Keep it up.
