I am really glad I stumbled onto this page, I am always looking for people I have served with to see how they are doing. I occasionally
still run into many at different units.

Great Page. Keep up the good work. Served with the 174th AHC Dolphins in '71' at Quang Tri and Chu Li as Crewchief of "540" Looking for Robert (Bob) Legault who served during this same time
This page is a fascinating resource for me. I am searching for all info. on my father's unit in WWII. Arthur D. Van Auken fought on Bougainville and other areas of South Pacific theater with the Americal Unit. I am searching for all information about the unit, and am happy to share the information I have on my father's tour of duty. My father is now deceased (October 3, 1995).
It took awhile to find you, but with my wife's help we found you, and it's great to know that there are others out there
that still value the close friends that we made while still remembering our High School prom. Keep up the good work.
After years of thinking "IT DON'T MEAN NOTHING", I'm begining to think it did. Great job guys, keep it up!
Nice site
It is nice to see my old unit on the internet. I would like to hear from anyone who served in my unit (Co. D and E, 4th/21st, 11th Inf. Bde.), I have forgoten most names. I was wounded on a combat assult, and medavaced to the world, June 1969.
Just found site, new to internet, looks good. Keep up good work.

attend the National Convention this June (1997).
Great Page & Great Organization. Found 35 former members of C/5/46, 198th, 70-71. Still looking. Looking forward to the reunion in Worcester in June. See you there.
This is the first time I came across this page. I have been attempting to locate a few old friends.
I was very surprized and pleased to find this site. I shall be
a frequent visitor. Thanks much.
My godchild is applying for one of the ADVA scholarships, and this page was very helpful in supplying her with information necessary to write a good history of the Division. I was very pleased with the page. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Americal for your support of the 196th LIB. I have been trying to reach Tony "Pigman" Cruz. He was running the 196th Locate-A-Brother. If anyone knows how to reach him, I would appreciate an e-mail. Also, any other guys who were in Bravo that year. The memory blurs sometimes... Thanks again...

I was out looking for some old friends and found your site. Good to see the info available to us.
My father who is now not living served in the Americal Divison during the 2nd world war ( South Pacific). Although he never told
me much about his time served,( I wish he had )he did tell me of his pride of having served. I just wanted his name posted, He would have like that, I'm Sure. I know I do.
His Son,
This is BEAUTIFUL. Until I talked with a buddy of mine from PA today, I didn't even know
this organization existed or anything about it. I was never contacted or called by anyone to
join like he was, so I am very grateful to him for telling me about this. It would be nice to
find out what roads the guys I was with ended up taking after going home. Unfortunately I don't
remember too many of their names.
But still--it was good to see the old "Burnin' Worm" patch again and someplace other than on the
patches in my desk drawer & on my dress jacket. My buddy has signed me up with the organization
as a gift to me, since I've been unemployed since a week before Thanksgiving. Hopefully I can
become and remain a member in good standing.
Was in HHC Rifle Platoon 196 Lt Inf Bde 9/67-9/68. Anyone out there
from the same unit?
I really like this page and the links to other things. I'm glad to have found it.
My first visit.I do not have much memory of people and event
due to head injury in a Huey crash in Nov.of 71 (1st of 6th 198th LIB)
I'm signing the guest book for my Dad. He asked me to see if I could find out anything about
his unit. He would be very interested in contacting anyone from it. (132nd Inf. K Co. 1943-46)
