March 1997
Nice site! A great improvement in communications for members. My career began as a 2LT with Amcal and concluded in 3/95 with my retirement as a COL with the 94th ARCOM in MA. With several visits to Fort Devens I frequently stopped by the museum but have not had the opportunity to visit the new location. I will never forget my year with the Amcal and the soldiers that I served with. In retirement, I don't miss the Army but will always miss the soldiers I served with and friends I made along the way. Keep up the good work for all of us.
Although I never served in combat during my time in the Army, I made many good friends. I currently ive in the Republic of Panama and have been employed by the US Government on the Panama Canal since Oct. 1974. I recently ran into my first Commanding Officer, Col. Edward Page. It was a grand reunion. We had both lost track of several of the people from that original unit. In particular, Motor Sergeant, Leslie Vetor and Spec. 4, John Dragoo. Would like very much to see where their lives have taken them.
Keep up the good work.
Looking for any of my Minuteman or Musket friends stationed at Chu Lai.

I was sent to the 14th Avn Bn 161st AHC in March 1967 (Pelicans & Scorpions). When I returned from Camp Zama Japan our unit was made a part of the Americal Div and moved from the southern perimeter to the northern perimeter. Then we were the 123rd Avn Bn A&B Co. (warlords & ?)I was envolved in search and destroy for the entire with B Co. I love reading this stuff and got chills when I saw the names of places and people and units.
