First, I am very pleased to find this great page. As a Marine Gunner with HMM165/CH46's and flying off of the LPH-10 U.S.S.
Tripoli in support of OP-Mead River,Thanksgiving 1968,we had 10 K9 Army men and dogs working with us. If I'm not mistaken,
we lost all of those great fighters and there dogs as well as many fine young Marines. Not long after that I went down
as well.! God bless all of them "Wheels"165 young

Hopefully will be able to link up with some of the men I served with. Thank you for this opportunity.

like my best bet to locate these persons........Keep up the good work
Very well done. I had the honor of commanding the escort detacment that brought the brought the Division Colors
back from Viet Nam and retired them at Ft. Lewis in November, 1971. It is good to see the fine traditions of the
Americal Division preserved.
This is a very good site. Thanks.
Would like to know is there any way to type in a name anywhere
on the internet and locate missing buddies. Not phone searches but by military history.
I have yet to find any history about my unit (E-Co 1/52 198 LIB).
Great site. Saw a booklet at the Wall from the 196th and wanted to register. It has been a long time.
I am trying to find two names on The Wall. Anyone who served in my unit (A Co., 4/21, 11th LIB)
from 1/15/69 to 2/15/69 may be able to help.
I am not a Vet, but I think this site is a good idea for all military and ex-military people to find each other.
