Can anyone direct me to a site for 2/12th or 2/32 arty. Was at Fsb Bu Dop, Pace. 1971-1972.
This is a great site! Very helpful in finding old friends, and developing new friendships. Our unit was so unique, it is hard to find anyone who even knows about it. We were a floating aircraft maintenance facility, USNS Corpus Christi Bay. It was the only one of its type, and now it has been scrapped. We wore the Army Materiel Command (AMC) patch. After I returned to CONUS as an E-5, I remember getting into a huge fight with an E-7 who told me it never was a combat patch, and that I could not wear it. I showed him! I wore it with pride throughout my 21 year career!
I'AM THE PRESIDENT OF THE VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA, INC. CHAPTER 232 IN GREENFIELD, MA. WE HAVE THIRTEEN CHAPTERS IN MA. FOUND YOUR WEB SIT WILL SURFING THE NET IT IS GREAT THANK YOU.

GREAT PAGES, I hope I can find someone who knew my brother. Thanks
Good web site to begin to try to locate fellow "Battle of the Buldge" survivors.
Thanks to all who I met, thanks to God for letting me live though I didnt deserve to.
Stationed on Artillery Hill at LZ Bronco near Duc Pho 67-69. Always trying to find Harold Ashe from San Diego who was wounded and shipped out. I never had the chance to say goodbye. Hope you are well.
Was a pleasure to have been a part of the support provided to those fine young men of Chu Lai
Served off San Jaun Hill with a bunch of good people. I'd love to see or hear from any of them.
Great web page.
My father fought under Sandy Patch who headed the Americal division at Guadalcanal. Dad fought with the 36th infantry division in Alsace while Patch commanded 7th Army. Patch's biography was excellent. He'd continue to work at his desk with artillery fire and bombs exploding nearby while at Guadalcanal. A robber tried to rob him and his wife and daughter, he just got out of the car and took the robbers weapon, and he could roll cigarettes with one hand! A snappy dresser he wore a lavender scarf and bloomers tucked into field boots. Very stable and effective leader and well-liked by his men. His son was killed while commanding a rifle company in the Parroy forest with the 79th infantry division. For 36th infantry division action against the 106 panzer brigade consult the 36th infantry division's website discussion area at the bottom of the homepage. Look for my entries under Greg Underwood at GregColmar@hotmail.com
I AM VERY PROUD TO HAVE BEEN A PART OF THE EFFORTS THE 1/82ND AND THE AMERICAL DIVISION TOOK PART IN THE EFFORTS TO SUPPORT THE WAR IN VIETNAM. I WAS BASED OUT OF CHU LIA AND SPENT MOST OF MY TIME WITH THE 1/82 AND ATTACHED TO THE 1ST CAV. AS AN R.T.O. I AM WONDERING WE ARE NOT LISTED IN THE UNITS SHOWN.
I appreciate your web site. I hope to make contact with some of my old buddies from Co. A 4/31 196th Light Infantry Brigade.
just found this site. spent most of my time on lz dragon. havn't found any old friends yet but will keep trying.
Man It's just really cool that we still care about each other and I pray my partners are still alive and well. Lost track after the unit stood down and I moved to the 173rd Robinhoods in Da Nang. Great page keep up the good work.
