While looking for other military information I "stumbled" across the AMERICAL Div. home page. This is great.
THIS IS GREAT I WISH THAT I'D FOUND IT SOONER. I HOPE I CAN FIND SOME OLD FRIENDS THROUGH YHIS.
Send any info you have available on the Americal Division in Viet Nam.
I have a map (still in good order) showing the area around Chu Lai and Quang Ngai, West to Tra Bong if you need anything check for coordinates.
looks good if only more people would sign the locator
Do you have an e-mail address for MG Donaldson?
I think it is vary nice and I'm glad that I found it and visited.
Since I live in Tampa, Florida I will try and make the 98 reunion.

Great site. We Viet Nam Vets need more sites like this just to let people know that what we did was for a just cause.
I think this is a great way for former friends with a common bond to find each other after so many years. Thanks.
I am moved and memories have been revived. This is a great site for anyone who served with us.
As an Aussie digger I worked out of some FSBs with you guys. I think your Associations are doing a great job. Keep up the good work.
Regards,
I received valuable information from DVA regarding veterans rights and benefits.
Just Lookin around for old friends. Thanks for the site.
I believe the government should get the bodies of our fellow service members out of Vietnam and every other country we fought in.
I was surprised to find such a well organized and useful web Site for the AMERICAL Div. Thank you for having it.
Was quite astounded to find on the Internet. I accessed prior to announced updating....was particularly impressed that there was a museum in Worcester. Must have some of my old collection...one of my duties had been cleaning up and maintaining a battlefield salvage at Guadalcanal.
I was part of the 182nd Combat team arriving just in time at Cactus for the big 3 day Naval battle and subsequent activites.
Above all, it's most appreciated that someone such as yourself takes on the job of maintaining a web page as you have done. Compliments
This is great!!
Dear AVDA members, I an glad and surprised to hear of an organization dedicated to the former troops who served with the Americal Div. I am a Viet Nam Vet and would like to join the Americal Div. organization please send me some information on how and where to join

Great Site!, We know the past, we are cognizant of the present. No one knows the future. That is why many of us live the past, for it is forever present. Spec-5 E-5 Andrew R. Kasarda, Door Gunner, SHARKS assault helicopter co, 174th Aviation. Duc Pho.

Would be interested in locating "Black Death" patch, which was worn on top of bush hat by most guys. It was a non-military issue patch.
Glad to see old friends.
I THINK: You should have a place where the 50'000 + CIVILIANS who worked with the military (especially in Vietnam) can locate their X-Civilian and Military buddies!
I was in the Military during the Vietnam Conflict/Fiasco and served as a Technician with Lockheed and NHA Field Service (GSo11) and an AVCO/Lycoming Factory Representative and Reliability & Maintainability Engineer (GSo13) in Vietnam...1968 o 71
I look forward to locating some of the other Factory Rep friends; DAC REP friends; Vietnam Civilian friends and Military Personnel friends that I knew there, in Saigon; Tay-Ninh (West); Vung-Tau; Long-Binh; Marble Mountain; China Beach; Da-Nang; Fu-Loi;
